Description
The Velo Orange Grand Cru Zeste is a set of powerful, adjustable cantilever brakes that combine classic bicycle design with modern braking performance. They are ideal for touring bikes, randonneur bikes, and commuter bikes, where reliable stopping power and ample clearance for tires and luggage are important.
The brakes feature a low-profile design with long brake arms that provide good mechanical advantage and effective stopping. The double-arm construction also helps keep mud and dirt away from the braking area, making them suitable for both paved and gravel roads.
The well-designed adjustments make it easy to fine-tune the brakes. Each brake arm has a spring adjustment for centering, and the brake pads can be adjusted for height and precisely angled toward the rim. The integrated adjuster screw at the straddle cable also makes it easier to adjust cable tension and brake lever travel.
The black finish gives the bike a discreet, clean look that pairs perfectly with both classic steel frames and modern touring builds.
