The Sylvan Touring pedal has the widest platform in the Sylvan range and allows for different foot positions across an area of 94x63 mm. The pedal is double-sided and can be used with toe clips and straps to prevent the foot from slipping. This pedal works well with a wide range of shoes, as it provides good grip without being too aggressive.
The Sylvan Touring Next is the first major upgrade to the popular Sylvan Touring, which was first introduced in 1979.
Sylvan NEXT pedals are the new premium pedals that retain Sylvan's traditional style while reducing the pedal's weight by 53 grams.
Sylvan NEXT pedals use triple sealed bearings, providing remarkably smooth, maintenance-free rotation at a lower weight than cup-and-cone bearings. These bearings improve pedal efficiency, making the NEXT series ideal for long-distance riders.
