Description
Luxury chain tensioner from Sturmey Archer. Worth noting: it has a CNC-machined aluminum pulley wheel with sealed bearings.
Suitable for singlespeed sprockets/freewheel cassettes from 18T to 25T.
A chain tensioner is used when your frame does not have long horizontal rear dropouts, making it impossible to pull the rear wheel back in the dropouts and thereby tension the chain.
A chain tensioner ensures that the chain always stays tight on frames with vertical dropouts.
