Velo Orange | Smooth Touring Saddle

Here is a lightweight but wider saddle designed for people who have their handlebars level with or above saddle height. The idea was to create a wider, affordable, lightweight saddle that feels like a leather saddle and has a classic appearance.

At 165 mm wide, it is approximately as wide as a VO Model 3 or Brooks B17 leather saddle. However, this can be somewhat misleading, as it has no rivets or flared leather “skirt.” The seating area is therefore equivalent to that of a slightly wider leather model. Weighing 425 g, it is considerably lighter than a modern leather saddle. The length is 282 mm, approximately the same as a Model 3.

The smooth texture allows you to shift around and find a comfortable position during long rides and climbs. The top is extremely water-repellent—perfect for touring and city bikes. The body is made of thermoplastic with a layer of high-density foam. The saddle rails are made of chromoly.
