Mazda–Postobón cycling team was one of the most prominent Colombian professional cycling teams in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The team made a strong impression in international stage races and Grand Tours with an offensive, aggressive climbing culture that put Colombian cycling on the world map.

The team was known for its exceptional climbing specialists, who often attacked in the great European mountain passes and earned respect in the peloton. Among the best-known riders were Luis Herrera and Fabio Parra, both pioneers of Colombian cycling at the highest level.

Mazda–Postobón competed in an era when teams often changed names according to their sponsors, but retained a strong identity as one of the peloton’s most exciting and feared climbing teams. Today, the team is associated with classic 80s and 90s cycling culture and is especially popular among vintage enthusiasts.
